This event, the first ever international event to be held in Vietnam, was a four day, 54 hole event. All of the accommodations were on site and the cost included 5 nights including breakfast, lunches on 3 days and a Welcome/Gala dinner on another. The total cost was $495.
The prize purse was $10,000 USD.
The golf course is less than 5 years old and was designed by Sir Nick Faldo.
The event itself was a major success with 14 countries participating.
Malaysia were Champions in the team Matchplay while individual champions were Zul Hilmi (Malaysia) Nao Miura (Japan) and Stephen Senyard (Australia).
The event had world class live streaming as well as trips away from the course into Ho Chi Minh City for all players.
